Dec. 5th - 9th were spent in Manhattan. It was an incredible trip, had a wonderful time staying in Times Square. Seeing the sights, eating the pizza, walking 5 miles a day.... can't wait to go back!

Tandra and I took my parents to Virginia for a week, to celebrate their 40th anniversary. We stayed in Williamsburg, but traveled to Yorktown, and Jamestown. We spent some time at Busch Gardens, Colonial Williamsburg, and many colonial era sites.

After the five of us left Williamsburg, we dropped my parents and Hannah off at the Richmond airport. They returned to Wichita, Tandra and I drove on to Alexandra, VA. We stayed on King Street in Old Town Alexandria, along the Patomac River. It's about 10 blocks of wonderful restaurants and shops. Most of the buildings were erected in the mid 1700's, and are still in use today.

In September '08 Tandra and I took Hannah to Disney World in Orlando, FL. We were there for 10 days. The first week we stayed at the Polynesian Resort, the rest of the trip we stayed at a timeshare condo about ten minutes from the park. Tandra's parents, sister and her husband came down for the second half of the trip. A great time was had by all, and we look forward to going again as soon as possible.

In October of 2006, Tandra and I spent 2 days in D.C., and 6 days in Massanutten, Virginia. The Shenandoah Valley is now one of our favorite destinations. And we lucked out in our timing, the weather was beautiful, the leaves changed from green to orange the week we were there.

Touring the monuments was great, and the seafood was incredible. Once we moved on to Virginia, the trip went from the mad rush of touring D.C., to the relaxation of watching the leaves change on Massanutten Mountain. We can't wait to get back.

Christmas morning at our house this year, then we went down to Blackwell to have Christmas with Tandra's family. Christmas Eve was spent at my parents house, always a lot of running around at christmas time.

Every year Walter's Pumpkin Patch in El Dorado opens up for Halloween, this year all the women went, Tandra, Grandma, Hannah and her cousin Grace. They had a great time and are looking forward to going again next year. Hannah dressed up as Princess Jasmine from Alladin, and brought home a lot of candy for her deserving father.
